Boys & Girls Club receive FMI Foundation grant

    The Boys & Girls Club received notification July 22 that it would receive a substantial grant from the Freeport McMoRan Foundation on Aug. 1.
    Grant recipients are chosen by a committee made up of local community members and FMI staff.
    Director Aimee Staten was invited to an interview July 18, and the committee asked questions about the goals for the grant if it was awarded and the mission and sustainability of the Club.
